The current issue of CrossTalk has two papers on schedule performance. Those not familiar with CrossTalk, it is a journal for the defense software business. It is an "approved" US Department of Defense publication. This means that DoD has something to say about the editorial content and makes use of the articles in the management of DoD programs.
There is a variety of content every month. This month is especially interesting to me because of the never-ending problem of scheduling in the presence of uncertainty.
The journal is free in hardcopy form. I still get mine in the mail, although the electronic copy is now available on the same day.
Worth a look for anyone interested in the profession of managing mission critical software projects with tools that measure physical percent complete.
