I attended two conferences last week, speaking at one. The 24th Annual Space Symposium and the Denver PMI Symposium. What dawned on me was the level of professionalism at each conference. The PMI symposium had an Aerospace & Defense (A&D) track. The Space Symposium was all A&D all the time.
The idea that project management is struggling to find its voice may be a view in some domains, but in A&D project management IS how all work gets done. The following list is of supporting or direct organizations where project management, managing projects, and training project managers as professionals is what they do for money.
