Risk Management

There have been several posted recently about "management of risk." Many times risk gets mixed up with issues.
    The best place to start to understand how risk management is performed, is to look at how it is performed in the world where risk is always present and the consequences of not "handling" risk are severe.
    The US Department of Defense Acquisition Technology and Logistics Community of Practice site has a Risk Management group. There are many other communities at DAU, so browse around to see what else is interesting.
    This link may ask you to confirm the certification acceptance. Most DoD sites do this. So answer "yes" and proceed with confidence.
