Josh at PMStudent reminded me that DOORS is our "standard" requirements management tool. For those not familiar with DOORS, here some webinars.
DOORS was purchased by IBM awhile back. It's the standard in NASA and DoD ans is now moving into the commercial market place.
The statistics show poor requirements management means poor project performance. But with DOORS you actually have to have "real" requirements management. None of that "make and list and start coding" type of requirements.
With DOORS you can become a "real requirements engineer," and a Systems Engineer as well, since requirements engineering is Systems Engineering.
