Saw this "sources sought" post for software I worked on the 80's in FORTRAN 77 - a real programming langauge, where desk checking the code required several days, none of this throwing stuff on the wall to see if it sticks, letting requirements emerge late in the game, and producing "just good enough for now," or "you're not gonna need it," approach. This application defends the US from ICBM attack.
