A well designed system does what it should and doesn't do what it should not
The notion of a system is missing from many discussions. These include the application of Agile. Finding the place in the system means first defining what the system is, what the components of the system are, and how they are connected and interaction.
This starts with what are the desired capabilities of the resulting outcomes. These capabilities are usually missing from the development process, which is focused on User Stories, Features, Scenarios. These have no structured or organized home in which to ask questions about their interactions, dependencies, and collaborative aspects.
