It speaks to productivity, cost, time-to-market, quality, competitive advantage, scaling, system engineering (my focus), maintenance, risk management (my other focus), and contracting.
This is the type of information needed for any process improvement assessment. Without a quantitative analysis, with actual numbers, most of the information round these topics are just individual anecdotes at best and unsubstantiated claims at worst.
