There of course the phrase Curiosity killed the cat, which is a warning of the dangers of unnecessary investigation or experimentation. Which brings me the comment on Mr. Johnson quote.
Curiosity is a curiously misused approach to problem sloving. We're curious why you do it this way. Really? Are you interested in improving the situation, or just curious. We need to challange everything. Really? Who's asked you to do that? Who's paying for you to do that?
So how can we use curosity to improve the probability of success of our project's? It starts with first knowing what DONE looks like in measures of the needed capabilities. These capabilities fulfill the business or mission needs of the customer.
