When there are practices suggested without principles, those practices have no way of being tested for applicability to the problem at hand. So when you hear We have a way to fix some problem, ask by what principles can you suggest your solution with fix the problem? And of course, ask have you found the root cause of the problem or are you just treating the symptom?
