Feynman spoke at our Student Physics Society, UC Irvine, on Quantum Chromo Dynamics (QCD), when that theory was first starting. It made complete sense, using his Feynman Diagrams to show the interactions of particles that had yet to be confirmed experimentally. I was an experimentalist and this sent us on our way searching for those missing parts that the theory demanded by there.
