When we hear from some advocates I have a way of doing something that is different than the established principles, processes, or practices and I'd like to convince you that my idea is a good one for you to use as well in your domain - think of Mr. Munger's quote. And ask that person have you put that idea into practice outside your personal anecdotal domain? Or better yet have you verified that your idea does not, in fact, violate the core principles of the domain you're asking others to apply your idea too?
