It is not the world that is mysterious. Rather it is the way we view it that makes it mysterious.
When we fail to understand the underlying principles of what we are observing, be it chaotic processes of ecology, particle physics, or simply estimating the cost and duration of our project, we assume there is a mystery that cannot be unraveled.
