In came across The Order of Time in Science, 4 May 2018. It looked interesting on the surface from the review.
The author also wrote Seven Brief Lessons on Physics which I haven't read.
This book approaches some fundamental questions about the nature of the universe.
Things like" "why do we remember the past and not the future?" "Do we exist in time or does time exist in us?" "What does it really mean when we say time 'passes'?"
The book is an easy read, with only a few simple equations, but it is a powerful read asking and answering questions about the nature of time, our true lack of understanding of time, and how this lack of understanding impacts our larger understanding of the universe.
