Many in our project management domains have a solution looking for a problem to solve. Before any solution is considered, what is the problem? What are the units of measure of the problem, and most importantly?
What are the Root Causes of the Problem? What the Conditions and Actions that create the Root Cause?
What are the Corrective and Preventive actions needed to address the root cause?
Without knowing the Root Cause of the problem. NO solution can be effective.
